Note:

The Ballet & Jazz Combo class is designed for dancers ages 8-12 who are ready to build technique, strength, flexibility, and confidence while exploring both ballet and jazz. Dancers should wear clothing that allows for safe movement and proper instruction.
For families who would like to follow our recommended dance attire:
*Girls: leotard and skirt or fitted dancewear (any color or style), pink ballet shoes, and nude jazz shoes
*Boys: athletic bottoms, a fitted t-shirt, black ballet shoes, and nude jazz shoes.
We understand that some families may prefer to purchase either ballet shoes or jazz shoes rather than both, and that is perfectly fine. Dancers are welcome to wear whichever dance shoes they have available. For classes that include both ballet and jazz, dancers may keep the same shoes on for the entire class or participate barefoot during the portion of class that requires a different style of shoe. As dancers progress in their training, having both ballet and jazz shoe is encouraged to help them fully experience each style and develop proper technique. Most importantly, we want every dancer to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn, grow, and have fun!

An optional end-of-semester performance will take place in December after our 3rd block. This exciting event gives dancers the opportunity to showcase what they have learned for family and friends while celebrating a fun and successful semester of dance. The participation fee is $50.00 per dancer and includes: performance t-shirt, goodie bag, and commemorative trophy. Additional performance details will be provided closer to the date.
